Maman Toronto

Drinking delicious cocktails like a Parisian from cinq à sept? Oui oui, s'il vous plait!!

A couple financial district foodies and I visited Maman Toronto after work for some cocktails. I've only visited Maman for coffee and have never been here after work hours. The lights were dim, there were candles out, and the crazy rush during peak hours were gone. It was a very calming setting.

There were only a couple others here, so it was rather quiet (which was nice).

Maman has a cocktail menu and a couple bites to eat that you can order. We started off with a couple of their interesting sounding cocktails.

Pictured here are the three cocktails we ordered:
Left - Foie Gras: cognac, demerara sugar and foie gras bitters
Back - Le Ti-Punch: plantation barbados rhum, benedictine, ginger liqueur and lim
Front - Le Vert: vodka, chartreuse, cucumber, and lime with matcha powder on the rim

Le Vert was mine, and I enjoyed it. You can't really put a finger on exactly what this drink tasted like but it was a pretty good combination.

The Foie Gras drink came with a performance by the bartender. Here is an action shot after we told the bartender to do this a second time haha!

Maman also has the cutest bunny mugs. It has a baby bunny inside hehe.

We got a little hungry so out of their little eats menu, we decided to order the charcuterie board.

It came with three different meats, some bread, cheese, and pickles and olives. This wasn't anything special, but it did help tie us over until we went to eat dinner at Japango.

I really liked coming here for casual drinks after work. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. I also love coming here for coffee - they have the cutest coffee cups. Be sure to stop by! Maman Toronto is located in FCP in the food court. They are open every day during the week for coffee, pastries, and other bites. They also have brunch on the weekend - which will be my next place to go for brunch!
